My volunteering started long ago, but only this year I have
started treating it with sufficientlyу clear and responsible atti-
tude.
Everything started on a wonderful day when together with
the team of the KFC Area Managers I took part in the project “Fun
Corridor”.
The project “Fun Corridor” is in fact a small group of people
who have been painting the walls in pediatric hospitals, which
would entertain the kids a little, distracting them from the “sad-
ness” of their stay in a medical treatment facility. I was strongly
impressed that there was such a format of volunteering and the
most important – that I was able and I wanted to take part in it.
After the first visit I addressed the project leaders with a request
to enlist me into the coordinators’ team. And now I am part of the
team and have been holding events in hospitals together with
other volunteers. a great lot of KFC employees have successfully
participated in this project and got a lot of fun.
