I feel great respect to those people who have devoted their
lives to charity or have been volunteering. This is an important
part of our social life and no doubt business should contribute to
this movement.
Earlier, I often helped to clean the territory and to paint with
fresh cover the fences of some orphanages in the Moscow re-
gion. Now I more often participate in charity races organized by
various funds, which later apply the raised funds to provide aid
to those in need.
Volunteers are highly proactive and engaged guys, and this
refers not only to their volunteer activities but to all the other
aspects of their lives, including their work. That is why, I think, the
more volunteers there are – the more vigorous and hospitable
our business is.
Our company has been actively supporting all the programs
of the KFC Corporate Charity Fund “Opening Horizons”. We have
been participating in the charity activities arranged by “Yum!”
and we have been arranging free lunches for the kids from or-
phanages on our own. The desire to help others is wonderful, and
if each of us implements this desire into life, then our society and
our country will become far kinder and better.
