Word From The Editor...
Welcome to another issue of Write Away Magazine. This month I’m very excited to
introduce a new feature of “Poets Seeking Lyricist/Musician” to help them to learn to
trnsform their poetry original into song lyrics. I do hope there are readers out there
able to make contact with these poets to lend a helping hand with this.
Also this month I’m very proud to introduce Rachel Mason to you all (page 34/35).
Rachel will begin a wonderful new feature here at Write Away from September with
her very own “Ask The Judge” pages, where she will provide you with the answers to
some frequently asked questions from song writers entering competitions. If you’re
one of the many thousands who enter Song Writing Competitions from time to time,
or even regularly then this is for you. Likewise, if you have your own question to put
to Rachel on ‘Ask The Judge’, then please email me with it and I’ll forward.

My main featured artist this month is Veronica Vitale, who hasn’t let this lockdown
stop her at all and has managed to put together a remarkable and unique multi
lingual song ‘Hymn For Humanity’ with musicians from all around the world. An
incredible effort, where the end result is brilliant, and well worth listening to.
If you have an idea for a regular feature in Write Away Magazine, and would like
to be involved each month presenting your very own pages then please drop me an
email and let’s talk about getting you started. We’re all here to help our lyrical
songwriters world wide to get the very most out of their own work.
I’m always happy to receive articles for future issues of Write Away too. it’s never too
soon to submit articles to ensure yours gets into the next available issue, and with
that in mind, a heads up that I’m already well over half way through the Christmas
Special for this year, so if you have an original Christmas song you’d like to submit
now is a good time to do it. Drop me an email if you’re unsure what content
is required, let’s make it a very special edition again this Christmas.
It would be most unfair of me not to mention all my regular writers without whom
I could not make this magazine as informative and special as it has become. To all
those who have been with from the start, and the newer regular writers, please be
assured that I’m extremely grateful to each one of you for taking the time to provide
me with outstanding content month after month. You are all very special people and
extremely appreciated by myself and I’m sure all my readers too. Thank you all for
your continued participation and for your support over the past 20 issues.
Unitl next time, stay safe out there, wherever you are....
