Woman of Substance

In this issue, we recognize our very own – Zenaida
“Zeny” Yungco Farcon. A peek at her young life tells us
that she is not far from Austen’s accomplished woman
if not already one herself in the definition of a woman
in Pride and Prejudice.

A pretty lady with a radiant and regal countenance,
Zeny is well-liked in any circle she revolves in. Mild-
mannered and always speaking in a pleasing measured
cadence, she instantly imparts self-confidence,
believability, and humility. Past President Lorie Cruz
Villame, a member of the Inner Wheel Club of
Marikina, said that ……..

“Zeny is unique because despite her busy schedule
and many achievements in our Organization, from
being Club President, District Chairman, National
President and now Board of Director for the
International Inner Wheel, she remains to be very
humble, connected, and concerned with the welfare
of our Club and our members. She is truly an
inspiration to all of us.”

National President Pam de Guzman added that “Zeny
is exceptional because she was never in a bad mood,
always very calm in any given situation.” Past District
Chairman now President of the Council of Past District
Chairmen Julie Malaya chimed in: “She has a positive
outlook in life.” She is well-loved and respected.

Zeny graduated CUM LAUDE with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Commerce with a major
concentration in Accounting from the Polytechnic
University of the Philippines. She is a Certified Public
Accountant having passed the 1981 CPA Board
Examinations at the top 20 out of a batch of 10,600
examinees. She is the Managing Partner of Farcon,
Magpantay, Farcon, and Associates, a CPA firm she
formed in 1999. The firm, based in Greenhills, San
Juan City, boasts of a vast clientele.
