U pon my appointment as

District Editor, immediately what
came to mind was to launch a
newsletter for the District,
realizing that it has not had one
for quite a while. When I broached the idea to incoming DC
Noemi, she readily gave me the go signal. Hence, the search
for a name began. I invited the members of the Board and
personal friends to come up with suggestions. It did not take
long, Wheel of Service was born. The name is self-
explanatory.

Why a newsletter? A newsletter will create a strong line of
communication among members not only in promoting their
respective clubs but also in boosting friendship and good will.
It will encourage member engagement by contributing
articles, sharing club activities and other life experiences.
Our newsletter can provide great value by providing
members with interesting content that will resonate
with them. Also, through the District newsletter, non-
members would get to know IWCPI, the people in it and
the many activities it does to help our fellowmen.

With this pandemic outbreak, social interaction has been
seriously curtailed as we are obliged to abide by the A CALL TO ALL IWCPI D380 Members!

Like a house whose best ornaments are the people in it, a
good newsletter is defined by its contents and the stories 0915 281 5691 / 0918 912 2620
that it conveys. Let us make our newsletter interesting and
note-worthy. Let us make this newsletter a district wide
endeavour and be proud of it. Tap your writing skills and
contribute your articles and club activities. Next issue will be in
December 2020.
