WKD PINK In a bold step that delivers a unique WKD take on the biggest trend in the alcohol category, SHS Drinks launched a 4% ABV WKD Pink Gin flavour RTD. WKD Pink combines all the complexity of gin with all the simple approachability of WKD. The new spirit-inspired product has everything consumers expect from WKD: fun, personality and accessibility. This is pink gin approached the WKD way; it’s an exciting innovation for Gineration Z consumers that gives RTD drinkers a fun, WKD-style twist on the pink gin craze. Since its launch on the 17th July WKD Pink has been making waves, with listings secured in a range of supermarkets: • Tesco, 700ml - 2269 stores from 10th September • Asda, pink 10 pack - 346 stores from 1st October • Morrison’s, 700ml - 446 stores from 28th October • Sainsburys, 700ml - 248 stores from 14th October Asda We have also created a Pink Popworld Exclusive (10 pack) for Asda. 30,000 packs are available in 300 + Asda stores, with each pack offering consumers free entry to Popworld. Tesco Promotional activation of 450 aisle fins across Tesco stores will help drive visibility and point of purchase. Social Media A pink frenzy will blanket our social media channels, driving consumer engagement with fun competitions to win WKD Pink. On trade Turning Popworld Pink WKD Pink will be taking over the top six performing Popworld sites with activation events featuring branded gum ball machines. Pink back bar displays in all outlets will also drive awareness and sales of WKD Pink. Dreaming of a Pink Christmas This Christmas we are dreaming about a pink Christmas! On social media we will be encouraging a pink party vibe that will drive awareness and engagement with WKD Pink. Point of sale kits will be distributed across venues heroing Pink, to encourage sales over Christmas.
