The humming noises get louder and the beeping intensifies. Red light swirls around the room. Images coalesce on five monitors. They reflect COMFORT & WELLNESS, RELENTLESS TESTING, EXTREME ENGINEERING, DATA DIVE, and GLOBAL INGENUITY.
IRMA STAT: We can show you how we are investigating ways to improve wellness in your family, bring you to our System Extreme Environmental Test Lab, take an up-close look at our innovative engineering, explore the data and controls of Trane’s Connected Building Solutions or witness some of the ways we are building the world of the future.
Each monitor then fades in with one of the choices. The consoles in front of the guests illuminate with the graphics of each choice displayed on their screens.
IRMA STAT: Now please, everyone, select the destination you are most interested in exploring. I’ll take care of the rest.
Using the console in the center of the room, we vote on our first
destination. The winning topic is revealed in the center of each monitor and then fades. The electronic noises around the room increase dramatically. The droning peaks. Wind blows around the space.
A laser grid descends from the ceiling. It projects onto us and cuts through the fog, a futuristic and brilliant purple matrix.
COMPUTER: 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Transport engaged.
We’re sucked into a wormhole, speeding across time and the universe. The wormhole grows and the sound increases until suddenly everything is sucked into blackness.
