Concept car key chains and
Motorama matchbooks
This is my rather unusual collection of key chains with concept car images on them. Factory concept cars, such as the Dodge Firearrow, DeSoto Adventurer and the Buick Wildcat, were depicted on the side of these key chains.
These oddities were a give-away by the automobile dealers in the 1940s and 1950s. They were made by SIGNA-CRAFT, a division of the National Key Company in New York City. They featured the ‘new Snap-Off Saf-T-Lok Swivel’ that separates the ignition key from others.
