TRIM SYSTEM
This was in 1985, and I was looking for new construction technologies based on the typical tubular structure. I made a wooden model called the “Trim System” in which the most important change was breaking up the frame into two parts, the main one in composite material combined with a small rear frame on which the drive wheel was fixed. This was done to adapt the center to the various other components.
The model was presented by me in Geneva in 1985, and it generated considerable interest. The public was not prepared for these innovations, but the die was cast.
