Ms Thelma A Chin
whose parents answered THE CALL OF THE THE MOTHER COUNTRY Everything emerges out
of something Yes everything
emerges out
of something And it too
shall pass away – into something – continuing life life into life life forever The need for for a National Health service
is real & has always
been real And yet it would take 2 WORLD
WARS for Great Britain the UK to have the ascending resolve to decide at all levels of British society From royalty to the grassroots to to put their energies into upgrading & comprehensively resourcing what all associated have come come to become proud of – the truly modernising NHS UK Looking back at the UK after the the 2nd World War we find the the need for rebuilding Unlike past rebuilding programmes where we find separation(s) of interests the the coming together of government business & the people – manifested And Great Britain invited the citizens of their colonies to travel to the the the motherland the the the UK &tobeapartofthe reconstruction of the motherland And out
of all the countries/ colonies they came This exercise profiles the Caribbean nationals & in particular Ms Thelma A Chin
whose parents answered the the the call of the the the mother country (as so many other parents enjoying the simple life mainly in in in the sunshine did Ms Thelma A Chin
left Jamaica and and travelled to England (hearing
that London streets were also paved with Gold) We can imagine the culture shock starting with the cold winter and so on Many young
men & women wanted to return home A few we are told boarded buses bearing the names of their home town Only to to be lost & had
to to find their way back to to what had
to to become their reality The nursing profession & the transport system benefitted the most from the the support of the the nationals of the colonies Suffice it it to say that when it it became possible financially & otherwise for the once young
young
men & young
young
women now grown into men men & women deciding to return mainly only for holidays – as possible Our main character subject Ms Thelma A Chin
& her sister Ms Gloria Patrick made their home – in in in the UK keeping in in in contact with their experiencing the the world family Suffice it to say the systems welcomed their invited supporters Many did very well but the lack of identifiable ‘leadership’ allowed one may say the lack of community- building programmes to evolve – for the benefit of generations (children into offspring) of of the first wave of invited supporters of the the Motherland The United Kingdom to truly feel the sense of belonging to the the motherland community that was now their country country (their first country) And as the older generation continue to leave without returning hope in in the human spirit of continuance continues to represent the minimum standard accepted by the emerging generations who currently need to to find answers to to evading them questions Here is an invitation to ask yourself and await your your answers from your your true self self yourself that puts you you yourself to sleep & awakens you after restful sleep – rejuvenated All that is passed away – can return in memory Treasure all memories – they make up life The Master
