MICHELLE NASH Favourite Memory

Over so many years, it is hard to choose just one

Start Date: May 13, 1991 favourite memory so I’ll have to write a list and besides
who doesn’t like a list ☺

Working nights as a Ward Aide with the Labour and

Delivery Team while I was in undergrad U of T - I

remember walking on hot summer nights to Papaya Hut

on Yonge St to get treats for everyone. Yonge St looked

a lot different back then.

Kidney Transplant has been my work home and work

family since 1994 and more recently general

Nephrology as well. Same office – same desk area –

more people to share it with but more importantly

always a fantastic team to work with both in research

and clinically.

Working on pivotal clinical trials that changed the

course of kidney transplant has been very exciting.

People rushed from room to room at conferences to

hear clinical trial results.

More recently, my redeployment to the CAC was a great

lesson in teamwork, endurance, quick thinking and

compassion!

It has been privilege and a pleasure to work with such

awesome people – both staff and patients!
