Carer Risk Pyramid
The Carer Risk Pyramid provides an “at a glance” summary of a care home’s quality of care.
The Survey is split into 3 parts:
The RED (top) section
- which graphically illustrates the proportion of carers whose surveys have never been assessed as risk-free.
The AMBER (middle) section
- which illustrates the proportion of carers whose surveys have occasionally been assessed as risk- free.
The GREEN (base) section
- which illustrates the proportion of carers whose surveys have always been assessed as risk-free.
This report is an example of one of the first months for the home in question. Only 56% of its carers survey as risk-free. This rating is quite common for newly adopting care homes.
Simple though it is, the Carer Risk Pyramid can only be produced once reliable metrics have been developed and deployed. It provides a profound and hitherto unattainable insight into a care home’s overall quality.
