           divergent strabismus is present. Canthi of the lips
           were drawn into a sardonic grin (not shown); mouth
           could not be opened. Extreme rigidity of the limbs
           explains stiff, stilted posture.


























           TETANUS  The ovariohysterectomy incision of the dog with tetanus does not reveal any abnormality to suggest
           infection with Clostridium tetani.
