ROUTINE FOLLOW-UP
         •  Dogs should be retested for heartworms 3 to 4 months after
            treatment to confirm that all worms were killed. Occasionally,

            a second treatment is needed to kill all the worms. Healthy
            annually or as recommended by your veterinarian.
