Prognosis
Broad-spectrum antibiotics (amoxicillin/clavulonic
acid 62.5 mg/cat PO q 12 h). Guarded to poor in young kittens.
Whole blood transfusion in severely affected cats. If cat survives 5 days, prognosis improved markedly.
