Ricacorp Properties

Situation

Ricacorp is one of the leading property agencies in Hong Kong and Macau. It has about 220 branches, employs
2,600 staff, and receives hundreds of thousands of web visits daily from customers seeking property information,
surveys, and mortgage referral services.

Challenge

As cyberattacks and security threats increase, Ricacorp needs to strengthen the security of its website infrastruc-
ture on Microsoft Azure with additional infrastructure on-premises. Following a recent cyberattack, Ricacorp wanted
to strengthen the security posture of its apps to better protect its customers and it required a solution that could
protect both on-premises and cloud apps.

Solution

After careful consideration, Ricacorp selected F5 Advanced WAF Virtual Edition on Azure to help protect its assets.

proactive bot defense to prevent bad bots from performing content scraping to obtain critical property information.
