As one of the original counties in Oregon, we have a strong
history in the community. The office of Sheriff has played a key
role in shaping the Pacific Northwest.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office has always been a pioneer
and leader for public safety. We recognize and respect our unique
and diverse communities. We go above and beyond to ensure the
safety and wellbeing of all through fairness and justice.

While safety is a priority, service, compassion and respect for all
people must be the cornerstone of our culture. To that end, we strive to filter our actions

through our core values:

The work of every Sheriff’s Office individual is important to our team and our mission
success. I have tasked each Division Commander and Executive Manager to develop

strategic plans and short-term goals to help us reach our vision.

On behalf of the men and women at the Sheriff’s Office, it is an honor to serve. We
