Winners for Mission Based Team
This is a new category of award for this year to recognize outstanding success of a mission that
came from horizontal deployment of teams who embraced the beliefs and think, act and lead in
new ways, pushing our boundaries to create a GE that is faster, simpler, more customer-focused.
A mission based team including PDS, O&G and GRC was formed in Sep’16 that solved a complex
challenge to predict crude and water mix based on multiple input constituents with an accuracy
greater than 80% in a short period of 1-month. GE to sign a digital deal with Reliance in 2016
This team built and deployed a digital twin in predix platform in a short period of 4-months that
predicts rotor fillet crack using creep, fatigue model combined with forecast analytics for D11 steam
turbine rotor crack. This has been demonstrated in Mind’s and machine conference, US
Digital Twin APM
