Dear Reader:
Fall has arrived and with it so many things to do in the Tidewater area. From hay rides to
apple picking to scary haunted houses and craft fairs, we certainly have it all when it comes
to celebrating this time of year! Of course it won’t be long until the holidays are upon us. I am
hoping to have all of my major shopping done this year before Thanksgiving, so I can enjoy
turkey time and only participate in Black Friday, both in store and online, if I absolutely have to!
I hope you can see that our magazine continues to change a little bit with every issue. We
are adding more content and more colorful and informative advertisements. We are in the
process of remaking our lists of resources to be as clear and readable as we can make them.
For twenty years this book has been a handy reference when looking for information on senior
housing and we want to continue to bring this information to you with updated formats.
In addition we are discovering so many delightful people and businesses for our readers to
learn about, in the important senior topics of financial security, health and exercise, real
estate buying and selling and home health care. We always look to include senior products
and services which can make life easier for our readers. Look for more and new services in
every issue.
As the premier magazine for senior housing and home health in the Tidewater region, we’d like
to say thanks for picking up your copy, and even more thanks for supporting our advertisers
who are seeking to earn your business!
Have a wonderful fall season filled with family, friends and good health!
Sincerely,
Lisa
