The 20th century myth of job security, with its promise that the
path to a long, happy, fulfilling life is to find a job working for
someone else, is crumbling before our very eyes.
A U.S. Federal Reserve survey shows that the average household
net worth for entrepreneurs is five times that of conventional
employees. That means entrepreneurs are five times more likely to
come out of a downturn (or recession) unscathed and even stronger
than before, because they’ve created their own strong economy.
