AJ Martin – You are just a spectacular person and I hope you know it. Honestly you just have so much depth and life in you, and its great to see you be a part of something like this band. You probably have been thinking wow, this girl is like really weird and then all those stories on the bus back from appo probably didn’t help, but you have a very friendly quality about you, and I could see that from the first time I met you. I know in the years ahead you will become even more spectacular, and things might get difficult but you of all people have the capability to make whatever you want to happen, happen. Good luck, AJ, and thank you so much.
Jared Babitsky – Thank you for caring. I mean that. You might not have done it meaningfully, but I could always tell, when I spout some depressing bullshit, that you were actually concerned, and that was nice. Also, you are one of the only ones that actually genuinely laughs at my stupid humor. And I appreciate that. So, stop cheering and leave "#$%Thank you so much, Jared.
Melanie Jones – Hi, Melanie. You have really shocked me this year. I can see as clear as day how comfortable you have grown in this band and as a person, which just emphasized to me how powerful this organization is. You’ve come out of your shell, whether you think so or not, and it is clear to me that here at the end, you got everything you could out of band and gave it your everything in return. Thank you for your dedication, your enthusiasm, and your spark. I wish you every happiness. Thank you so much, Melanie.
Josh Jacobs – Honestly, Josh you are the real MVP. I always end up near you, and every piece of unnecessary worthlessness that comes out of my mouth ends up in your ears because I force you to listen to me, and I am so sorry. But you do listen, and I am thankful for it (an afterthought: I’ve written most of these dedications now, and I realize most of them are just about me being sorry for existing, but it doesn’t make any individual less important in that regard, so don’t you feel less special lol). Thank you so much, Josh.
Cassie O’Quinn – You rock hard, girl. Honestly, I am personally so proud that the Altos have someone like you in the section. You have such drive and initiative it inspires the rest of us to be better. If I’m speaking honestly, I expected you to be very different than you are, less personable. I don’t know what gave me that impression, but you are the reason that no one should be judged until we get to know them, and you’ve certainly taught me that lesson. Thank you for being kind, and true, and honest. You are a leader by nature, so go forth in life and do the damn thing. Thank you so much, Cassie.
Brandon Foster – Ok, Brandon. So, I don’t know you super well, but what I do know is that you have a real talent in music. You are intelligent and determined, and these qualities will get you so far. You have a drive to be a leader, and the courage to get you there. I know you will do great things in your life and your music. Thank you so much, Brandon.
Rookies – I really haven’t gotten the chance to know you very well, but I hope that you all found a home in this band, and that you have gotten a sense of how close this band is. There is always someone here for you, and this brilliant organization is going to carry you through your college career, if you’ll let it. Brant, Julia, Holden, Erin, and Matt, you guys are awesome and talented and capable, go forth and kick ass.
Non-Altos
Madison Kinsey – Ah, here we are. So, let’s get started, shall we?
We all know I don’t do well with sappy and serious, but I have to take this moment to tell you how important you are to me. Eight years ago, when I was starting at Polytech, and you and your mom
