you’ll be doing after you graduate, but always do it with the same zeal that you have in band. Thank you so much, Luke.
Zachary Smith – I am so happy that you came back, and I hope you know that. You are a ray of sunshine and I’m not even being sarcastic. Not even lying, I have literally been living through this fall semester, and every time I begin to get negative and angry, I literally think to myself, “Zach wouldn’t get angry about that, he would tell me to just listen to music and be positive.” You have that kind of chill energy that I so hope to achieve, and I know that you don’t just have an endless supply of energy, but you give off this outward appearance of it, and that is very kind, and helpful to those of us who lose will so much easier. Thank you so much, Zach.
Sophia Freaney – I never got the chance to tell you that you have done an excellent job being music section leader. You are always so clearly excited about what you’re doing, even if you are physically exhausted. I have always admired your confidence. You’re just here to do the thing and have a good time and that is why you are going to succeed in whatever you do in life. You’ve absolutely got the right idea in life and I will think back to you when I am in doubt. Thank you so much, Sophia.
Jacky Matics – JACKY NO! (I am sorry for starting that by the way, but I often do things that make me laugh at others’ expense, so sorry about that). You are the kind of person the world needs more of, because you don’t bullshit. The key to everything in life is communication, and I have no worries that you will succeed because you make yourself present and you are unapologetic in the way that you live and operate. To be honest, I don’t really know you very well, but I know that you are going to be a BOSS someday. Thank you so much, Jacky.
Jules Turner – The first time I really talked to you was in Caitlin’s kitchen your rookie year, because our group had decided that you were cool, which I agreed with. You just struck me as an original kind of person, which is something that, believe it or not, is hard to find nowadays. Like, now there’s a person with a lot of qualities that I have never seen together before, and in my book, the best thing that someone can be is unique. You’re fair, and honest, and enthusiastic and by God you’ll do the thing you set out to do and you won’t complain about it and that is awesome. Thank you so much, Jules, for being you, and good luck with everything that you do.
Alec Lusby – You are one caring bean. Like you just operate with such care and efficiency and you probably don’t always feel that way, but that’s what we all see. You don’t have to be close friends with someone to lend a hand, show concern or just listen, and that’s really admirable in a person, especially in today’s world. I never thanked you for your concern at the Milburn bonfire thing, when I was far too drunk to care about anything and you made me a s’more and got me some cider and honestly it’s the littlest things like that that make the most difference (btw it took me until the next morning to remember who gave me the cider, because all I could remember was it just appearing out of thin air. I was not well that night lol). Keep that care in your heart, and don’t let this world take anything from you. Thank you so much, Alec.
Tyler Cohen – Hey there, guy. (I do apologize in advance, because I am writing this while high on prescription pain meds after my car accident, so this isn’t going to be ground-breaking stuff, but bear with me). Its so cool to see how far you have come from freshman year. I don’t think I would have thought that that kid who was late to pretty much every game day would end up in field staff, but here you are, and you’ve done a great job. I never really talked to you much until this year, but I was actually pleasantly surprised to find out how friendly and caring you are. I hope you find great success in the years ahead, as well as great happiness. Thank you so much, Tyler.
