♪ There are places I remember... all my life. Though some have changed... some forever not for better... some have gone, and some remain. ♪
My 4 years with the UDMB have been some of the most memorable ones of my life. The UDMB has taught me so much about life, family, and love. Coming into freshman year, already having 300 friends made it so easy to feel like I belong here at UD. Band has been my home and my happy place for all I can remember throughout my life, and it is bittersweet to see my marching band career end. It is so hard to believe how fast the past 4 years have flown by. You really don’t realize how fast it goes until you’re at the last game, end of the show at postgame, realizing that it would be your last time singing “In My Life” with your closest friends... until next homecoming!
Nicole Bellucci- I don’t even know where to begin. 10 years being by your side has gone by so fast, but I’m so glad I got to spend these past 4 at UD here with you. From our first routine at Wheaton together in 2009 (Express Yourself) to our last show at UD 2019(To Boldly Go/Queen), we’ve been through it all. Travelled the world together, spent endless hours in car rides, the practice gym, the UMD basketball court, Frazer Field, and Tubby Ray. Thank you for being my best friend for all these years, and to many more by your side. I love you so much. All in the name of GG Love, forever and ever. ♥
Deena- Well, here we are. December 8th. The day is finally here, and I wish it hadn’t come so fast. I can’t thank you enough for all that you have done for me. Taking Nicole and I in as one of your own, best GG/baton mom ever. I will never forget the memories made with you here at UD, and will cherish them forever. I’m going to keep it short and sweet so you don’t cry now. I love you so much! GG Love, always. ♥
Sarv- Thank you for taking Nicole and I into your band family here at UD. The environment in this band is like no other, and it has helped me grow into the person I am today. Thank you for always including us as part of the band and not sticking us in the end zones. I will always cherish my time spent with the UDMB, and keep my eyes with pride- always. GG Love!
Mike Park- Thank you for always being there for me, no matter what my problem is. From beginning to end, you always know the right thing to say. Love you! ♥
Jeremy and Alice- You two have grown so much in 2 years and I can’t wait to see how you’ll be in more years when YOU are seniors. Cherish every second, time flies when you’re having fun. Take care of yourselves and push each other to be the best you can be. Love you both so much!
Rachel and Jackie- I can’t believe our 4 years has gone by so fast. Thanks for being our colorguard friends and always keeping me and Nicole in the loop. Love you both so much♥
Erik Gross- Thank you for being a great friend. Thank you for going on friend dates with me and Erma. We ♥ you.
All UDMB Staff- Thank you for creating a program where everyone feels like they belong. The family feeling is unlike any other. Thank you for everything you do! GG Love
