such a sweet person, and I’m glad I got to know you a little better this year. Don’t let life drag you down because the world needs your amazing personality. I hope you have the best senior year next year and give this band your all. Also, welcome to senior year! That means you are one of two to be called Tenor Mom! (alongside Darshan, see next). We are giving you the responsibility of face paint for game days. You were always so enthusiastic and excited at games, and you always valued our tradition for game day face paint. For this, I trust you because I know you’ll keep it up. Keep up the section spirit!
Darshan Pathak – watch out buddy, you’re next. Don’t forget to take deep breaths, you got this. You always care so much for the section, and you constantly look for ways to help us out. I can’t thank you enough for your dedication. Have a great senior year next year, and don’t let it go by too fast. Also, welcome to Tenor Motherhood! Along with Ryan, you two will be super moms. Sofia and I are leaving you with the responsibility of medicating the section (responsibly). Make sure they’ve got ibuprofen when band camp comes in hot, or Emergen-C when cold season comes around.
Tenor Rookies – y’all really took this section by storm, we were not ready, but damn we were lucky. You guys have truly made an impact on this section, and I am happy you guys were the rookies for my senior year. Oh, and congrats! You’re not rookies anymore, you’re now officially vets! Be careful, college goes by in the blink of an eye.
Sofia DiGirolamo – to the love of my life, thanks for living with me for fOuR yEaRs!! Big sad about a lot of things. Thanks for reaching out all those years ago and saying “hey, we’re both gonna do band, let’s live together”, or something along those lines. Here we are, at the end, and I am forever grateful for that message. Thanks for being my friend on and off the field. Whether we were laughing with (or at) each other or venting, it has been a wild time, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So many random ventures and laughs later, and here we are. Band wouldn’t be the same without you, and I am so happy it brought us together. I know our friendship is one that’ll last a lifetime <3.
Bri Licciardi – I don’t even know if I have words for you. You are my person, and I wouldn’t have you without band. Our first conversation went somewhere along the lines of you asking to room with me because we were both in band (but if you read the above shout-out, I was a taken lady &'()). However, I think things worked out the way life intended. Who knows where we’d be if we roomed together and ended up hating each other (ha that could never happen, but still). After that, we were flute rookies together, and we’ve gotten closer every year. Extra shout out to 8-bit for really bringing us together (#8quit). I never knew I could feel so close to someone. We’ve both grown so much these past couple years, and I am so proud of us. I am forever grateful to know you because you are a real inspiration to me. Thank you for all the memories, and I know we’ll have so many more.
Evan Mullen – to my “boyfriend”, thanks for being there for me for literally everything. Band brought us together in the first place, but we really bonded over nursing (p.s., we made it through!!). Whether it was studying after practice, or before practice, or just in general (or watching Grey’s Anatomy while pretending to study), I am happy to have spent all that time with you. I couldn’t have made it this far (or stayed this sane) without you by my side, you are truly my partner in crime. Thanks for being my best friend on and off the field. You always know what to say when I turn to you for help (which is very often). You are going to make an amazing nurse one day, and I hope that we can share our nursing stories together for many years to come. You are such a caring person, and you really make everyone around you feel so special. Never change bby <3 Also, if there were a best bibber butt superlative, it would go to you &'()
