Melanie Jones – you are a BEAUTIFUL soul and I already miss seeing you on the field during the week <3 You truly are the sweetest, kindest soul I have ever met, and I am so grateful I get to call you a friend. I’m really happy we got to know each other better this year, and you truly do light up the room (and put a smile on everyone’s faces) when you walk in. Thanks for making band an even happier place than it already was (which I didn’t even think was possible).
Val Pascale – way to stick it out as last of our rookie class in the flutes! They couldn’t be luckier to have had you. You are an absolute role model and a strong female leader, and I really look up to you. Remember that time we took class about sex together? Yes, that is definitely one of my best memories from college, and I’m happy it was with you <3
Emma Leefeldt – thanks for being the best little ever. You are so beautiful, and you have such a sweet soul. Never stop smiling, because you make everyone around you smile too.
Alyssa Rosenblum – I really hope you know the impact you make on every person you interact with. You lead with such grace, and I know you are going to do great things in life. Thank you for being such a great role model. You always made me feel like I could come to you if I needed. You are a beautiful person inside and out, and this band was lucky to have you.
Sophia Freaney – hey you, I am SO happy we’ve gotten to be good friends this year (big sad that we didn’t really know each other before). You are one of the funniest people I have ever met, and I always have a smile on my face when I’m with you. You are a truly special person, and the world isn’t ready for you. Thanks for being a part of my senior year, you really helped make it what it was.
Adam Scherr and Nick Outten – thanks for all the laughs. Double dates with you guys and Bri are literally some of the best memories of college. Don’t ever change. Oh, and can I get EXTRA KOSHER pepperoni on that pizza? Kthanks, buhbye.
Apartment L-1 + Ethan Weinstein – how many water bottles do I need to get??? 7? Okay. Madi Steinberg – honestly girl you are amazingly talented at keeping things together. Your hard
work doesn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for doing all you do.
Brendan Laux and Matt Greene – thanks for putting together the best senior show I could’ve ever imagined. You guys are truly talented, and I couldn’t have asked for more. You really helped to make our senior year as amazing as it was.
Seniors – thanks for being the best class I could’ve asked for. I may not know all of you, but I appreciate all you guys have given to this band. Senior rehearsals this year were honestly so fun, and I really had a great time playing with you guys and getting to know you better. It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come (and how much we’ve grown – big yikes don’t look at the pictures). It’s been a pleasure, my friends. Eyes with pride, always, and see you out on the field on Homecoming next year .
Sarv – thank you for being that person to always know what to say. Your words have inspired me from the start. You are a true leader, and you have a great band – I am grateful to have been a part of it.
Maggie Kehoe – you’ll probably never read this but thank you for encouraging me to come and join the UDMB. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made, and I have you to thank for it. You were a great band director for me in my senior year, and you showed me what band could really be for someone.
