“It’s one thing to get women into rail, it’s another keeping them on. I think equali and merit is a star ng point, but also respe with ea other. In an industry where women should be encouraging ea other, I have come across a couple who have treated me worse than a man..... As a young female engineer it’s unfor nate to say but you can be treated poorly by both the male and female team members.
“More women should join the rail industry ..... I highly encourage women to be a part of the rail industry to show we are an equal country and women are capable of a ieving the same goals as men. is needs to be something a woman is interested in though, as
being pressured into this hard work could result in a nega ve outcome.
