A note from your Highway Superintendent
As we all know, snow can come anytime starting in October. Please take the
time while the weather is still nice this Fall to check your vehicles. Here are
a few things to check:
Brakes
Tire Tread & Air Pressure
Wipers
Fluids
Gasoline Level
It is a good idea to have supplies (shovel, flashlight, snack, water, blanket,
lighter or matches, emergency candle, etc..) in your vehicle.
Please stay home if the weather is bad. Please only travel if it is necessary.
Please allow extra time to get to your destination. Please drive according to
the conditions of the road.
If you do these few simple things the highway crew can perform their tasks
safer throughout the winter.
Before you know it, you will be putting your hummingbird feeders back out!
