JACOB O’CONNELL—Outreach Program Manager,
SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forest-

ry, Newcomb Campus has earned the first Extreme
Newcomb Patch. He completed all three require-

ments in one weekend. He climbed Adams,
Vanderwhacker, and Goodnow Mountain fire tow-

ers (in one day), biked the entire road system at Es-

sex Chain Lakes (in one day), and paddled the pe-
rimeter of Deer Pond, First through Seventh lake,

and Grassy (in one day). Well done Jake!
