siteID=NY20. In the 1980s, pH at Huntington Wildlife Forest was
quite acidic at 4.4 pH units; today pH has improved to over 5.2 as a
result of the national Clean Air Amendments of 1990.
ESF belongs to the National Atmospheric Deposition Program which
has included environmental monitoring since 1978. NYSERDA funds
this program.
