We continue to work to build stronger relationships with area school districts through partnerships and technical courses offered in local high schools. Our presence in the community continues to grow and we regularly look for ways we can put our skills to use for the communities we serve.
While all of this information is interesting to know about the college, it is simply a reflection of the efforts of our students and their experience at Northwest Tech. Let me take a moment to tell you about the real reason we are here tonight.... our students.
The items you purchase tonight from the auction go to help students across our campus secure their dream of an education. Some of our students are the first in their families to ever set foot on a college campus.
The majority of our students come from homes that can’t afford to pay for higher education and your dollars play an important role in helping them change their futures. In some cases, the education we provide, and your scholarship dollars support, will lift students up out of generational poverty and literally change their futures. It’s an incredible part that you get to play in making it happen.
So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here tonight. Thank you for supporting the college as we work to support our students. Every single dollar raised tonight goes directly to help provide an education for a Northwest Tech student. None of what we do would be possible without your support!
