               The death of a child or team member during care is a serious incident.

                     Remain calm and assess the situation.
                     Call 911 immediately and advise administration of the situation.
                     Remove other children from the scene and secure with designated team member.
                     Attempt all first aid and/or CPR pursuant to current guidelines.
                     Designated administration will contact the parent/guardians or emergency contact of
                       the child or team member and arrange to meet at the hospital or medical facility.
                     Medical staff will advise the parents/guardians or emergency contact of the death of
                       a child or team member.
