Mission In Action
It is the mission of Jack & Jill Children's Center to break the cycle of poverty
for children of high-need working families through quality early childhood
education and family strengthening programs. 90% of the children and
families we serve live within 175% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Early Education Program
Jack & Jill Children's Center’s Early Education Program serves children
ages six-weeks to five-years-old. Accredited by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the program
demonstrates standards of high-quality early childhood education
including a safe and healthy environment, well trained teachers,
access to excellent teaching materials, and a curriculum that is
appropriately challenging and developmentally sound.
Comprehensive and research-based, Creative Curriculum® is utilized
to promote exploration and discovery. Conscious Discipline®, an
evidence-based comprehensive initiative, is employed to transform
conflict into opportunities to teach critical life skills. Additionally,
Continuity of Care is practiced to ensure children remain with the
same teachers/ caregivers for multiple years to create stability and
secure attachments.
The Madelaine Halmos Academy at Jack & Jill

launching them into bright, prosperous futures.
