Professional Curriculum
The program of study consists of forty-four weeks of instruction in experience. Time spent in each
educational experience is designed to enhance educational studies and develop technical skills
competency.

The curriculum contains a total of seventy credit hours: twenty-seven general education transfer hours
and forty-three professional credit hours from BHCLR. The curriculum is organized into two (2)
semesters, semester I and semester II, leading to an Associate of Applied Science in Histotechnology after
successful completion of the program of study and fulfillment of graduation requirements.
