DOUGLAS COUNTY NONPROFIT GIVING GUIDE
www.dccf.org/givesday
SECORCares is a free food market serving Douglas County. We are committed to breaking the chains of suburban poverty by building a community of dedicated, caring people working together to end food insecurity while restoring hope and livelihood to those experiencing it. SECORCares continues to grow, not only the number of guests we serve through our onsite and mobile markets, but also the myriad of offerings for our guests. From “Food for Thought” weekend food bags for school aged children and their families, to life coaching through our “Community
of Hope,” as well as abundant resources for our senior guests, we thrive through the support of this generous com- munity. Our staff, volunteers and donors hope someday there will no longer be a need for our services, but until then we are always here to assist those who do!
SkyView Academy offers a research-based, content-rich, liberal arts program with a commitment to world language studies and community service. Staff, parents and students are actively involved in a culture of expectation and support where individuals are respected, valued and known by the content of their character. SkyView is a public charter school in Douglas County currently in its 13th year of operation and has been honored with a variety of “best school” awards since 2017.
