Wellspring Community exists to celebrate adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) so that they can unlock their individual potential. Wellspring’s Day Program services provide educational and enrichment opportunities in a community-centered way both in-person and online. Participants can also learn relevant and transferrable job skills through our Work Opportunities programs. For many families and individuals that have I/DD, the future can feel uncertain and overwhelming. Many families voice concerns about caring for their loved one with I/DD when they are no longer able to. To address this need, our services are expanding to provide a housing solution for adults with I/DD! This housing solution provides confidence and peace of mind to families that their loved one can experience joy and the hope of an abundant life. Our services help to meet the evolving needs of people with I/ DD and this work wouldn’t be possible without you!
After two local moms took their lives and the lives of their children, we created YANAM2M to support moms. No mom should ever feel alone or that they aren’t enough and our program, Strong Mamas, Thriving Babies will change the world, one mom at a time. We became a nonprofit in May of 2017 and have not only saved lives but changed hundreds of lives throughout the past years. Our hospital program will pilot in January of 2023 and we will create whole networks of moms so that they are given the support they need to create families and communities where children thrive and moms feel valued.
