Omoto Baitcaster Reels
Each of these models is built in Omoto’s Taiwan factory to very high standards. The GTR
series has a one-piece graphite body and a one-piece alloy spool. The Chief Extreme
baitcaster series is made for effortless casting. Both models incorporate two independent
cast control systems.
C Chief Xtreme 630 CXS Fishing Reels
Chief 630CXS
Many anglers prefer to fish
D without a levelwind and that is
Chief 630 CX where the 630 CXS fits. It is less
expensive than the levelwind
version and has two less ball
bearings, but retains all the
other features as well as the
performance of that reel. It too
has two methods of cast control
and the single piece reel frame.
Chief Xtreme 630 CX
Whether you plan to cast lures or baits,
strayline in a berley trail or jig metal on
the bottom, the Chiefe Xtreme will do
the job. The CX model is the flagship
in the series, sporting 4 ball bearings
plus an instant anti-reverse bearing.
The Chief Xtreme has two methods of
cast control; both a centrifugal braking
system plus a magnetic control system
are incorporated into the reel. The
carbon fibre drag can produce up to
7kg of drag.
