APB & AD Team Up for eam Up for

SHAH ALAM – Akademi Pengajian
Bahasa (APB) has teamed up with the
Faculty of Art & Design (AD) for ‘Absolute
English’ project. Led by Assoc. Prof
Fairoz Haji Salleh of APB, this project
aims to improve and enhance English
language skills and proficiency among
members of the university community.

The production crew which comprises
members of APB and Galeri Seni Tuanku
Nur Zahirah (GESTURZ) has been tasked
with producing language and creative
contents using creative media technology
approaches. The concept of the project
is to facilitate the digital demands for new
methods in teaching and learning beyond
conventional classrooms.

English is an international language and essential for interpersonal communication across the world. A joint collaboration
between APB, AD and GESTURZ would help strengthen the cross-disciplinary efforts for the continuous improvement of
academic quality in all areas.

It is hoped that this cooperation will also encourage other members of the university to use such collaborative platforms to
promote convergence of different expertise that complement each other for the betterment of all. – gesturz
