               Precautions to Prevent Infant Abduction



                  ▪ All personnel must wear identification that is easily visible at all times.
                  ▪ Teach parents to allow only hospital staff with proper identification to take their
                    infants from them.
                  ▪ Question anyone with a newborn near an exit or in an unusual part of the
                    facility.
