The Parikrma Address School Health Awards 2017

On the 22nd of February, 2017 Delhi Public School Bangalore North was inducted into the
Parikrma Address School Health Awards Hall of Fame as part of their initiative to create
awareness about the healthy practices followed by schools in Bangalore. Delhi Public School
Bangalore North was inducted in the Hall of fame for following healthy practices in the
following areas:

a. Timely Health Check-up of school children and Follow-up Activities in the School
b. Delivering In-School Health Services
c. Health Education as part of school curriculum
d. Active Program for Counselling & Mental Health for children
e. 'Physical Activities for Healthy Living' program
f. Encouraging Good Nutrition Practices
g. Encouraging Good Personal Hygiene Practices in School
h. Programme to prevent Substance Abuse, Tobacco, Alcohol use
i. Child Health & Safety Policies
The awards ceremony took place at Chancery Pavilion and saw a participation from
over 80 schools.
