“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever…..It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”

bout 22 years ago I picked up my mom’s
old Minolta 35 mm film carmera and
started experimenting with photography. I
Afast became addicted and have not set the
camera down since. I have dabbled in posed and propped
photography, but I discovered quickly that my love is for
un-posed documentary style photography. I love how my
images are more raw and I get to sneak into my clients lives and capture them as
they are with their families on a regular day. I love those images that capture the
love of a family and my goal on every photo shoot is to do just that. I want to
capture that moment when your daughter reaches her little hand to your cheek
to ask you a question. I want to catch your son as he leaps from the third stair
despite you asking him not to. I want to capture your husband lightly placing his
hand on the small of your back as he whispers something in your ear. These are
the moments we long to get back after they have passed and my photographs can
transport you back to those times. Your life in it’s current chaotic state is perfect and
I hope to capture that lovely chaos so that it may live on forever.
