Professor David Allen reports that his new book “Photochemical Machining and Photoelectroforming” has sold out twice and a third prin ng has just been published.

The book includes some material from his old book “The Principles and Prac ce of Photochemical Machining and Photoetching” published in 1986 that is now out of print.
The book has been thoroughly revised and updated and also includes new Chapters covering phototooling, metal prepara on, photoresists, ferric chloride, cupric chloride, etchant regenera on, etchants for precious metals, stainless steels, magnesium, tanium, di cult-to etch materials, aluminium, chromium, molybdenum and tungsten, process control, PCM products, electroly c photoetching, photoelectroforming and its products. The book includes an appendix containing tables of ferric chloride concentra ons and a comprehensive index.
The 237-page book is printed in full color on glossy paper and perfect so bound in a laminated cover for durability. It is available for sale at $100 (US dollars).
