A er his appren ceship at Thyssen in Ha ngen, Hans Schmitz graduated from the University in Essen, Germany. He completed his studies in energy- and process engineering.
A er gradua on, Hans was employed by Leybold-Heraeus in Cologne and Hanau as a sales consultant for vacuum processing in the Middle East.
Hans has also worked in the eld of material processing with laser beam and technology transfer at the Technology Center at the Associa on of German Engineers in Düsseldorf.
From 1990 – 1993, Hans was been responsible for project management at CHEMA in Switzerland. A er CHEMA was liquidated in 1993, Hans started KSD Innova ons GmbH.
