Output : Anything viewed on your computer monitor screen.

Device : Computer parts .

Processing : Finding result.

Input : Anything entered in the computer.

Points to Know

• Computer has different parts as our body parts.

• Keyboard is an input device. It is used for typing text,

numbers and special symbols.

• Mouse is called pointing device or input device. It helps

to draw picture and point things on the monitor.

• CPU is a processing device

• CPU is said to be brain of the computer. It controls all the
other parts of a computer.

• Monitor is output device. It looks like a television. Moni-
tor displays whatever you do on the computer.

• Speaker is output device. It is used to listen music on the
computer.

• Printer is an output device. It is used for printing text,
numbers and pictures on paper.
