You just have to answer:

Yes, + subject + did.

Or

No, + subject + didn’t.

Did you erase the board? Yes, I did.

Did he listen music? No, he didn’t.

Did you water the plants? Yes, I did.

Did they play a movie? No, they didn’t.

Did it eat? Yes, it did.

Did we go to the concert? Yes, we did.
