I will share with the congregation a summary of your responses. The responses will
indicate how we collectively “see” our congregation and hopefully provide useful di-
rection for our teams as we determine areas of strength and areas we many want to
focus on.
Our teams need each one of us to participate or if not physically able to attend meet-
ings, to become a prayer warrior for team member and a willingness to share your ex-
periences and wisdom. Each of us make up the body of Christ, our church, and each
are important to our ministries of proclaiming the Gospel and doing God’s work with
our hands. Thanks in advance for filling out the questionnaire and thanks in advance
for participating in the life of our congregation.

2020 is a year of celebrating anniversaries within the Evangelical Lutheran Church
of America. 2020 marks 50 years of Lutheran women being ordained, 40 years of
women of color being ordained, and 10 years of LGBTQIA+ individuals being able
to serve freely.
To commemorate the 50 years of ordination of women, our NI Synod has produced
a video entitle “Who Inspired You to Become a Pastor: Voices of Women Pastors
in the NIS.
