ROOF SLATE
SPECIALISTS
The Penrhyn slate quarry in North Wales has been producing slates for over 600 years and is the largest slate quarry in the world. When it comes to a re-roof project, Penrhyn Bangor Blue slates are still the number one choice for retaining the heritage of the original building.

Penrhyn Bangor Blue Slate
Speed of installation with approximately 5.4 tiles per m2
You can also achieve the look of natural slate with our Snowdon® range which now includes the Snowdon XL interlocking clay tile. With only 5.4 tiles per sqm it gives amazing coverage and is suitable for large open roof areas. It is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it is reminiscent of traditional large format slate roofs.
Recent research has shown a key area for demand for clay tiles in the refurbishment market. LBS now offer a bespoke service to replicate the original roof covering via digital clay. We have digitally re-created these 2 NEW colours using actual reclaimed slate.
