ISRT Ltd have been providing Specialist Equipment, and Work at Height Rope Rescue Consultancy Training to Military, Police, and the Emergency Services in Ireland, for the past 28 years.
Our courses are delivered to Industry Best Standards, Some of our military courses are now Accredited by Carlow Institute of Technology.
Our training department, headed up by Malcolm Hunt, Training Director, work to improve the safety of persons in occupations at extreme heights. We work closely with all the major players in the Irish Telecommunications industry, as safety and rescue system designers, to reduce serious injuries in this highly specialized business. Malcolm Hunt has a FETAC training qualification, and is a member of the Irish Institute of Training and Development.
ISRT are the preferred Work at Height and Rope Rescue training providers to the Irish Fire Brigade Service, including Dublin Fire Brigade, Galway, and Limerick, and over 22 other retained brigades throughout the island of Ireland. We provide introductory classes, and on site continuation tower climbing training and rescue, that has set the standards for Ireland’s professional tower technicians, since our foundation in 1991. We combine the experience and skills, of our seasoned climbing instructors, and safety professionals, to provide the best training available. All ISRT training courses meet, or exceed, international and European, regulations and standards, while remaining workable, and cost effective, in the unique environment of the Irish tower climbing industry.

ISRT continue to act as equipment provider consultants to numerous Irish firms, including Bord Gais Ireland, ESB Telecom, and as consultant work at height, and rope rescue training providers to Tara Mines for the past 25 years. Our Instructors work closely with the rigging crews from RTE, the national Television and Radio station, and engage in close cooperation with the RTE Safety Management Team, developing simple and complex rescue systems, working on top of some of the highest steel structural masts in Ireland, now extending to almost 300 meters high.
We have taught RISAR Rapid Intervention Search Access and Rescue, Special Ops Rope Courses, Specifically designed to meet the skill levels required by specialist military and police teams, to enable rapid access to a position, search of a difficult to reach area, or safe access to a casualty site.
