Families impacting: :Families with children ages birth through 5 years of age
Practitioners impacting: Inpatient and outpatient pediatricians, pediatric nurses and medical
assistants, family medicine practitioners, child psychologists, public health nurses, Healthy Steps
specialists, social workers child care providers, preschool teachers and home visitors.
Community impact: We are working to use Touchpoints as the catalyst to ensure that all
providers in our early childhood system speak the same language when working with families.
Highlights since you began: Participants report that they now feel like they are providing the
level of service to families that they have always desired. Touchpoints has brought systems of
early care and education together with parents to better focus on the needs of the child.
