he above magnetic phrase from our College anthem always rhymes loud and
Tclear in the hearts and minds of every student who embarked from the portals
of our hallowed seat of learning - not only learning literacy and numeracy but also
discipline and character to face the global challenges of the future and to evolve
              themselves into perfect humans.

The prophetic sentiments expressed in the above couplets are as true now, as they were
visualised almost a century ago. Our community has undergone untold hardship and
misery the result of which saw the dispersal of our people to almost all the nooks and V. Sivasupramaniam

The alumni of Jaffna Hindu is no exception to this phenomena and they have
successfully organised old boys associations from the USA and Canada on one side to
              Australia on the other side.

of achievement and success that they have fulfilled the dreams of the founders in a
meaningful way not only to the school community but also to the wider and the
              vulnerable sections of our community.

A lot of credit is due to the London OBA in funding a number projects for the student
community of our college - provision of furniture, hostel expansion, playground
extension, acquisition of the quarters for the Principal and the donation of a bus - just
to mention a few. It is appropriate to mention that our college that started with 6 1/2

In addition to the provision of a number of scholarships, plans are afoot to meet
the requirements of the needy and the vulnerable sections in the affected areas -
