JV Squad Accomplishes a 6-1-1 Season
It is no small wonder that CBA Soccer has begun to build a reputation as a Central New York power house, when one considers the fact that between the Varsity and JV squads, they possess four titles in two years. Coach Goldberg’s JV crew have a right to be pleased with them
selves, given their 6-1-1 league record which produced the last CNYCL crown. The defending champions from the
82-83 season saw a group of seasoned players come up from the Middle School team, enabling them to fill key positions left vacant because of Varsity moveups. It was this wealth of experience in the group, as well as the fins offensive strategies developed by Coach Goldberg which produced the lopsided winning season. |
